Leaving Tianjin
Traveling is quite an adventure. We have five people and thier luggage and Jan and Lou's scooter wheelchairs. I almost feel like all my children are home again. In China families are very small by law so such a large group is rare and we stand out. Many of the locals are interested in the scooters and we have been asked everywhere we go how much they cost.
Much Baggage
I wanted to check Olivia with the baggage but Joe wouldn't let me!
Mana From Heaven ??
This is one of the eating places in the Tianjin Airport. Joe thinks this is where mana comes from. The translations from Chinese to English are hilarious at times. One of my favorites is the stores that are translated as "Generic Shop" .
Generic Shop
As you can see, this place sells "Generics" .... not really, just the typical things at airport stores.
Her First Plane Ride
She is smiling again. Olivia loves to travel.
Room Service in Nanning
Olivia loved the fruit tray room service brought up.
Out the Window
We are staying in a very nice hotel in Nanning, the Mingyuan. This is one view out the 9th floor window. Unlike every other city in China I have been in, this one is not clouded by polution but actual clouds. We can see the sun when it is not cloudy here. Another amazing fact about Nanning is the population. Only 2.5 million peoplw. Every other city has had 10 million plus according to the locals.
Looking Down
Another view from the window shows the hotel swimming pool. It is large and has a kiddie pool next to it. We plan on trying them out.
Fashion Show
Olivia shows me her clothes after a shopping trip with Dad and Aunt Jan. Olivia is so much like other 4 year old girls.
Swimming Anyone
Like my swimming suit ShuShu?
